The Institute of Social Science Research (ISSR) has cutting-edge research facilities and software for data collection and analysis.

These facilities include:

• a sophisticated statistical computing environment with advanced analysis software;
• tools and facilities for spatial modeling, geographic information systems visualisation and the integration of survey and spatial data;
• capacity for scientific qualitative analysis (including textual data concept visualization and mapping) using Leximancer software.

As part of our commitment to building and enhancing the quality of Australian social science, ISSR hosts the Queensland node of the Australian Social Science Data Archive (ASSDA), the national repository for academic social science data.
