Stream D – Software
MFSAS Stream D modules involve hands-on software training. These full day workshops will take participants through hands-on exercises and examples using the software.
This session is designed for new users of Leximancer. It is a hands-on introduction which starts by covering the basic operations of the system. Participants will learn how to:

This module is designed for people who are familiar with using Leximancer and who want to take their skills to the next level, building on the concepts learnt in the Introduction to Leximancer module. This one day course will cover advanced topics, such as profiling and the interpretation of results. There will also be the opportunity for attendees to work on their own data and projects.
Pre-requisites: Introduction to Leximancer or attendees need to have a basic knowledge of Leximancer and be able to import data, make changes to settings and generate concept maps.

This advanced workshop is designed for experienced users of Leximancer. The hands-on format provides users with strategies to answer advanced analytical questions using Leximancer.

This module is designed for people who have little to no previous knowledge or experience of STATA.
There are no prerequisites.
Module D5—Graphics & Do files complements this unit, building on Module D4.

This module is designed for people who are familiar with the STATA operating environment.
Participants with no prior knowledge of STATA should complete Module D4—Introduction to STATA before taking this course.
